Job DescriptionWHAT DOES A SENIOR ART DIRECTOR DO?
The Senior Art Director (SAD) is an active contributor to the creative team, taking full responsibility for their work, owning concepting and art/design development for a range of projects of varying complexity and scope. The SAD has a solid background in designing materials for pharmaceutical marketing and a knowledge of marketing/advertising principles necessary to ensure work achieves full potential, adheres to brand standards, remains on schedule and overall, meets/exceeds expectations. The SAD presents and defends work internally to creative management and associated teams and may be required to sell the agency’s work in collaboration with others. The SAD is a positive example to junior team members, is proactive in addressing challenges, and actively seeks out opportunities to engage in new business and internal initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Possesses strong conceptual skills with the ability to bring a wide range of original creative solutions to every project
Owns concept and design across all types of communication (digital, print, video, etc.) helping team create materials that educate patients and persuade healthcare providers
Assists creative leads on projects, helping to pull creative concepts and themes through tactics
Proactively collaborates with subject matter experts to internal and external teams
Ability to present and defend work to internal and external teams
Mastery of pharmaceutical regulatory processes and adept at working within these confines
Ability to distill complex and scientific medical information into clear, compelling, and acute visual communications
Proficient at file-building/management best practices and The One Intouch Process
Understands the importance of meeting billability targets and proactively communicates about their workload
Actively participates in brainstorms and is enthusiastic to ideate with larger team
Acts as an example to junior team members, showing careful attention to detail and sharing experience in a full range of channels
Is a trusted creative partner who develops strong relationships within creative and across other cross-functional departments
Problem-solver who works to flag/elevate problems in advance to appropriate leads and contribute ideas for solutions
Volunteers to contribute to new business efforts
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in art direction, with a focus on pharmaceutical marketing.
Demonstrated experience in developing multichannel creative that displays strong conceptual thinking, design finesse, strategic acumen, and the ability to bring clarity to content-heavy work
Strong conceptual skills with the ability to bring a wide range of original creative solutions to every project.
Proficiency in digital, print, and video communication design.
Mastery of pharmaceutical regulatory processes and adept at working within these confines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to distill complex and scientific medical information into clear, compelling visual communications.
Proficient in file-building/management best practices

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $113,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
