Overview: 

We are seeking a social-first Senior Creative (Copywriter or Art Director) who loves creating big ideas to lead social media creative content for our largest entertainment and media client. Our next Senior Creative must have sharp conceptual skills (with a portfolio showcasing social-first and traditional 360 campaign experience), and deep pop culture knowledge that creates scroll-stopping content across social platforms. If your colleagues and friends deem you as “chronically online,” a sports fanatic, and the go-to for movie/tv show quotes and references— you might be the perfect fit. 

 

Key Responsibilities:
 
Concept Development: Lead ideation in collaboration with creative, social strategy, brand planning, and production to create a high volume of on-brand and relevant content across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook). This candidate must have proven experience with concepting and executing big ideas across social-first platforms and traditional advertising. 

Campaign and Content Execution: Develop and execute breakthrough social-first creative campaigns that seamlessly tie entertainment, culture, and social media trends. Write, design, and/or art direct and produce high-quality static and motion content both on teams and independently. 

Executional Excellence: Ensure the highest level of craft in the execution of all creative assets, from voice/tone, to visual composition, to final production, paying attention to detail, quality, consistency, and always pushing the brief. 

Innovation & Trends: Stay up-to-date with social/entertainment trends, industry trends, and AI technology while translating these insights into breakout brand moments. 

Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve the brand’s written and visual identity, ensuring that all creative work is aligned with the entertainment brand’s brand guidelines, social playbook, and voice while pushing creative boundaries. 

Team Leadership: Mentor junior creatives, providing feedback, direction, and support to cultivate an environment of growth and creativity. 

Client Engagement: Present work directly to clients and maintain professional client communication to understand their needs and translate feedback effectively. 

 

Qualifications: 

6-8 years agency or related experience, with a  portfolio that showcases social-first creative campaigns 

Production experience required 

Deep knowledge of entertainment, pop culture, and social media trends 

Proven experience producing entertainment and sports creative 

Strong understanding of social video/static best practices 

Exceptional composition and visual/written storytelling abilities 

Experience working with entertainment or streaming clients preferred  

Self-starter mentality with proven ability to source assets and solve creative challenges independently 

Understanding of social platform specifications and best practices 

Ability to manage creative projects from concept to completion while managing multiple priorities and deadlines 

Excellent communication and presentation skills—both verbal and visual

The salary range for this position is listed below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to budget, relevant experience, qualifications, and tenure in similar roles. Consideration may also be given to internal salary data for current or former employees in the same or similar positions.

Salary Range: $90,000-120,000 annually
