About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to support deposit pricing and portfolio analytics within the Consumer and Small Business Bank.
This team sits at the center of strategy, pricing, and analytics. As a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant within the Consumer and Small Business Bank, you'll use data to influence how Wells Fargo grows and manages one of its most important portfolios. From evaluating pricing strategies to uncovering customer behavior insights, your work will help drive decisions that impact millions of customers and billions in deposits. The ideal candidate enjoys turning data into business action and wants a front-row seat to strategic decision making.
In this role, you will:
  • Drive analytics that support key deposit pricing decisions, portfolio optimization efforts, and strategic rate actions
  • Explore large and complex data sets to uncover insights into customer behavior, balance migration, product performance, and pricing effectiveness
  • Develop scenario analyses and business impact assessments that help shape future pricing and product strategies
  • Build recurring and ad hoc analyses that measure portfolio health, growth trends, customer mix, and profitability outcomes
  • Partner closely with pricing, product, strategy, and analytics teams to solve challenging business problems and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Transform data into compelling stories through clear visualizations, presentations, and recommendations consumed by senior leadership
  • Champion data quality, governance, and analytical rigor to ensure trustworthy and actionable insights
  • Influence analytical approaches and contribute to the evolution of portfolio measurement and pricing strategies
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities evolve and innovation is encouraged
  • Perform analytical work supporting deposit pricing decisions, portfolio monitoring, and rate change evaluations
  • Analyze large data sets to assess customer balance behavior, product performance, and pricing outcomes across consumer and small business deposits
  • Support scenario and impact analysis evaluating potential pricing actions and product changes
  • Develop recurring and ad-hoc analyses to track deposit performance against plan, including growth, mix, and margin indicators
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to refine analytical approaches and ensure consistency with broader portfolio strategy
  • Create clear, accurate analytical outputs, including tables, charts, and summaries for leadership consumption
  • Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and adherence to governance standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business context and incorporate feedback into analytical work
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using SAS, SQL, or Python for data querying, analysis, and reporting
Desired Qualifications:
  • Exposure to consumer or small business deposit products, pricing, or portfolio analytics
  • Experience analyzing customer or account-level financial data
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including joins and sub-queries, across large data sets
  • Experience performing data analysis in Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial analysis
  • Experience creating presentations to communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a deposit pricing and portfolio strategy function
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work onsite at one of the posted locations
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
