About the Role

Abnormal AI is hiring its first Analyst Relations Manager to establish a formal program that shapes how the most influential research firms perceive Abnormal. This role will be pivotal in driving our positioning across Gartner, Forrester, and other top firms. You’ll partner cross-functionally across Product Marketing, Product Management, and GTM leadership to influence coverage, drive analyst readiness, and support strategic launches.

What you will do
  • Build and scale Abnormal AI’s first formal Analyst Relations program, aligned with strategic product launches and corporate priorities
  • Own end-to-end execution of analyst engagements—including briefings, inquiries, report submissions, and inbound requests
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Product Management to translate our AI-native platform differentiation into compelling analyst-facing narratives
  • Develop and maintain a proactive analyst engagement calendar tied to key GTM milestones
  • Prepare briefing materials and equip executive spokespeople with clear, differentiated messaging aligned to analyst research agendas
  • Monitor analyst perception and competitive positioning; deliver monthly readouts with recommendations to influence category thinking
  • Lead or co-lead RFI/RFP submissions for major evaluations (e.g., Gartner MQ, Forrester Wave) and coordinate internal SME inputs
  • Establish repeatable workflows, templates, and best practices to scale analyst engagement across the company
Must Haves
  • 5+ years in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, or a related strategic communications role in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS
  • Proven experience managing Tier 1 analyst firm relationships, especially Gartner and Forrester
  • Proficiency with GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate research, content creation, or briefing prep
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and externally represent company narratives
  • Exceptional program management and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market and analyst influence on the buyer journey
  • High degree of technical curiosity and acumen; ability to grasp and convey complex product and platform concepts
  • Demonstrated success delivering RFIs, briefings, and strategic messaging under tight timelines
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Nice to Haves
  • Experience supporting or leading major analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner MQ, Forrester Wave)
  • Familiarity with cloud email security and the broader threat detection market
  • Analyst firm-side experience or deep understanding of analyst research methodologies
  • Experience influencing perception in emerging or fast-evolving market categories
