How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to Manager, IT Applications as a Senior Analyst, you will partner with Supply Chain business users globally to implement or enhance Order Management, OTM/GTM capabilities to meet business needs. You will also work on Oracle as well as non-Oracle products in Ciena’s SCM landscape. You will bring your understanding of both technical and functional design & current best practices into the solution design to support the business capabilities.  

  • As a lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a reliable and scalable solution using Oracle Order Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement, and other relevant modules.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain and Logistics Business Users, external implementation teams, AMS Partner, Product team, Ciena PMO Teams, and internal IT Teams, to drive SCM projects.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders, you will analyze their requirements and evaluate existing business processes. You will identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to optimize business operations.
  • Your role will involve customizing Oracle EBS modules to align with specific business needs. This includes developing and implementing functional specifications, configuring workflows, and defining data conversion requirements.
  • You will oversee AMS support for SCM areas such as Order Management, Procurement, WMS, and Logistics. This includes troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and delivering timely fixes to urgent shipping issues.
  • In addition, you will design the Supply Chain using Oracle R12 and legacy applications.

The Must Haves:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional, with a focus on Order Management, Procurement, and Warehouse Management System.
  • In-depth knowledge: Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, specifically Order Management, Procurement, and WMS. Familiarity with related modules such as Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving is a plus.
  • Implementation expertise: Proven experience in leading end-to-end Oracle EBS implementations, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and user training.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Oracle EBS functional setup and configuration. Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL is desirable.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective solutions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources.
  • Project management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Experience in project planning, estimation, and resource management.
  • Certifications: Oracle EBS certifications in Order Management, Procurement, or WMS are highly desirable.

Assets:

  • Implementation experience with Oracle Cloud SCM implementations
  • Knowledge of Pricing, Logistics Management and SQL

Pay Range:

The annual pay range for this position in Canada is CAD 78,500 - 125,500. 
The annual pay range for this position in US is $92,400 - 147,600  

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
