The Role
As a Senior Delivery Manager at Block, you'll partner with our sales teams to expand Block's merchant portfolio. Your work will blend technical execution with relationship management, ensuring seamless integrations and strengthening Block's enterprise merchant footprint.
We are remote-first company with employees working across multiple time zones.
You Will
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise integrations, aligning technical solutions with merchant business objectives.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects, identifying and mitigating risks before they impact delivery.
  • Drive technical discovery and solution design with enterprise merchant engineering teams
  • Act as a strategic liaison between enterprise merchants and Block's internal teams (Product, Engineering) Master and apply Block's API ecosystem to craft scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Review,validate, and advise on complex technical designs for major retailers, ensuring scalability for high-volume transaction processing
  • Influence Block's product roadmap by advocating for merchant needs and market trends
  • Own relationships with key stakeholders - from engineers to CTOs
  • Drive complex technical implementations to completion within aggressive timelines
  • Coordinate globally distributed teams to drive implementation success across time zones
  • Present technical content to diverse audiences, including C-level stakeholders and engineering leaders.

You Have
  • 8+ years of experience in technical delivery management, particularly with enterprise-scale payment or e-commerce implementations.
  • Proven success delivering complex technical projects with large scale retailers or enterprise merchants
  • Strong project management skills with track record of managing high-stakes implementations
  • Deep expertise in:
    • RESTful APIs and integration best practices
    • E-commerce platforms and payment service providers
    • Enterprise-scale payment processing workflows
    • Security and compliance standards for payment systems
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and value propositions.
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise e-commerce systems and digital payment ecosystems
  • Review, validate, and advise on complex technical designs, ensuring compliance and scalability.
  • Travel occasionally to enterprise merchant sites
  • Bonus: previous leadership experience

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
