The Senior Account Director will manage key customer accounts, drive sales initiatives, lead a sales team, and develop long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Director to join our team. This leadership role will focus on managing key customer accounts, driving strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction across IDN partnerships. The Senior Account Director will play a crucial role in developing long-term relationships, creating innovative solutions, and driving revenue growth through a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Initiatives: Drive the sales strategy and execution for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with business goals and revenue targets.
- Manage Key Accounts: Oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional service, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing client retention.
- Develop Strategic Plans: Create tailored strategies for each account, focusing on long-term relationship building and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales professionals, ensuring collaboration and high performance in achieving regional and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met, challenges are addressed, and expectations are exceeded.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets, leveraging deep industry knowledge and client insights.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly review and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure continued success.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
- Represent the Brand: Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting the company's brand and building relationships with potential clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 -10 years of experience selling to medical professionals and hospitals
- Minimum of 2 years managing an effective sales team
- Must be able to professionally present the features, advantages, and clinical benefits of all our products and services and to compare their performance with competitive products
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Expertise in strategic sales planning and execution, with a focus on consultative selling and long-term value creation.
- Proven success in managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth
- Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
