As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing e-commerce solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs and exceed their expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, as well as the ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers. 


NOTE: We are only accepting applicants with Salesforce SFCC experience


Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop and support eCommerce websites on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud
    platform (SFCC).
  • Migrate clients to the latest SFCC platforms including SFRA and PWA Kit.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect and implement custom features, and functionality tailored to the unique needs and branding of each client.
  • Develop and integrate third-party applications and APIs.
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of e-commerce sites, ensuring they can handle high traffic and provide a seamless user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for client projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing code reviews and sharing best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Demandware Script, ISML, pipelines, controllers, and other Salesforce Commerce Cloud technologies.
  • E-Commerce Knowledge: Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including SEO, online marketing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications are a plus.
