About the Role
The Salesforce Business Analyst and Configuration Specialist is a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into Salesforce solutions, and ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives. We're seeking Salesforce team members to help modernize and enhance enterprise system that connects healthcare providers directly with millions of US veterans seeking clinical care. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and expertise in Salesforce functionality to optimize the use of the platform in achieving organizational goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Salesforce Business Analyst and Configuration Specialist will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to:
- Facilitate discovery workshops and business process analysis.
- Evaluate and document existing business processes within an organization.
- Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Analyze data requirements and assist in designing effective data models within Salesforce
- Create and maintain epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps to align the Salesforce functionality with client specifications
- Identify opportunities for Agentforce, AI automation, and workflow optimization
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Salesforce administrators, Testers, and Developers to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices
- Support Data Cloud, reporting, analytics, and data governance initiatives
- Perform UAT planning, training, change management, and adoption activities
- Support Agile delivery and backlog prioritization.
- Participate in data migration and data quality activities to help maintain data integrity.
- As needed, develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to validate Salesforce configurations and customizations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and functionality of Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback from business stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and Salesforce configurations.
- Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate user adoption and understanding of new features.
- Provide training sessions for end-users on new features, enhancements, and changes in Salesforce.

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years Salesforce Business Analyst experience
- Salesforce Business Analyst, Administrator, Agentforce Specialist certifications preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience configuring Salesforce to meet business requirements
- Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Flow.
- Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project management and collaboration tools.
- Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus.
- Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired
