About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Officer to drive business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate will promote the company's products and services, achieve sales targets, conduct market research, follow up on prospective leads, and deliver exceptional customer service to maximize revenue opportunities.
Functionally Reports To: Business Development Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new sales opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial markets
Conduct product presentations and educate customers on solar energy solutions
Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales contracts
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, installers, and partners
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Conduct site visits (when required) to assess customer needs
Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, and customer interactions
Collaborate with technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Stay up to date with solar technology trends and competitor offerings
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of two (2) years in direct sales, with experience in both B2B and B2C environments with a track record of success (preferably in the renewable energy and technology, or similar industry).
Basic understanding of solar energy systems
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Comfortable with field sales and client visits
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
