The Job

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer to join our fast-growing Global Pre-Sales team.
Our pre-sales experts leverage their technical expertise and sales acumen to simplify complex workflows for prospective new customers.
You will partner closely with Account Executives, to drive velocity, and help customers envision scalable, efficient processes using the Simpro platform.
Our goal: to help trade businesses and individuals be more productive, efficient and ultimately successful!
In return: we offer competitive reward packages, with a 70:30 % split on base salary vs commission targets!

What You’ll Do

  • Translate technical features into business benefits for customers.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor product demonstrations accordingly.

  • Address technical questions and concerns raised by potential clients.

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations.

  • Gain deep understanding of our product and technical intricacies.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive offerings.

  • Identity customer pain points and propose solutions that align with our offering.

  • Gather feedback from customers and share insights with the product development team to influence product enhancements​.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role, preferably within the SaaS industry.

    • Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud computing, and enterprise software solutions.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advantageous)

    • Experience in the Field Service Management or Trades experience (advantageous)
