Your Role at Nutrient
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be on the front lines of our go-to-market motion, responsible for identifying and creating new sales opportunities through both outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for many of our prospects, introducing them to Nutrient and positioning our value to technical and business stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC, with remote flexibility and opportunities for rapid advancement for high performers.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, research, and connect with high-potential leads across target markets
- In addition to a small inbound component, candidates should be prepared to build, deploy and execute outbound campaigns focused on driving new business for all lines of business
- Qualify inbound leads to ensure fit and readiness, setting discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Act as the face of Nutrient in early conversations—delivering compelling messaging tailored to developers, IT leaders, and business executives
- Support campaigns from Marketing and follow up on event/webinar registrants
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to execute territory plans and outbound sequences
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and opportunity data in Salesforce, Salesloft, and other tools
- Participate in weekly team meetings, coaching sessions, and SDR training
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ year in sales, SDR, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
- Experience cold calling and managing high-volume outreach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity, coachable, and a passion for learning about new technologies
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a fast-paced, remote-friendly team
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus
- Prior experience in SaaS, developer tools, or startups is a bonus
