About Hashgraph:

Hashgraph is a fast-growing software company committed to supporting, developing and servicing Hedera, an open source, proof-of-stake platform. Hedera is EVM-compatible and has been specifically built to meet the needs of enterprise and web3 applications, which require speed, security, stability and sustainability. Hedera’s public network is governed by industry-leading organizations, spanning 11 sectors and 14 regions who oversee the development and direction of the decentralized platform.

Why this role exists:

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive top-of-funnel pipeline generation for Hashgraph’s enterprise software portfolio, including HashSphere (our private, enterprise-grade distributed ledger platform built on Hedera technology) and Hashgraph’s asset tokenization and cross-ledger settlement solutions. This role exists to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, working closely with Sales and Marketing to build a healthy, well-qualified pipeline for our enterprise sales team.

Based on the East Coast, this role will sit close to customers, partners, and market opportunities as we scale commercial adoption in the U.S.

In this role, you will:

This is enterprise sales development for infrastructure that regulated financial institutions will build on, which means the qualification bar and the sophistication of your outreach both need to be higher than at a typical SaaS SDR desk.

  • Research and identify target accounts and key stakeholders across enterprise and financial services segments, including buying committees at Fortune 1000 and regulated financial institutions
  • Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, email, social, events), applying sharp judgment on account prioritization rather than volume alone
  • Engage prospective customers to understand business needs and assess fit for Hashgraph's solutions, translating complex technical capability into business value for non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales Directors to hand off qualified opportunities and support early-stage deal progression
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospecting activity and pipeline status in CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign follow-up, event outreach, and lead nurturing
  • Continuously refine outbound messaging and prospecting strategy based on market feedback, treating your pipeline as a system to be measured and improved rather than a quota to be hit

What success looks like in 6–12 months:

  • You consistently build a pipeline of well-qualified, sales-ready opportunities each quarter, with opportunity quality holding up under Sales Director scrutiny
  • Your outreach converts at or above target rates for meetings booked and opportunities created
  • Handoffs to Sales are clean, well-documented, and require minimal re-qualification
  • You are recognized as a reliable, high-activity contributor to the sales team's pipeline goals, and increasingly as a credible voice on account strategy
  • You have developed a strong understanding of Hashgraph's products and can speak credibly to prospects, including technically sophisticated buyers in financial services
  • You are positioned for growth into a closing sales role

What you bring:

Core capabilities:

  • Prior experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar outbound sales/prospecting role, with a track record of exceeding activity and pipeline targets (SaaS, enterprise tech, or emerging tech preferred)
  • Sharp written and verbal communication skills; able to engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite and finance/technology leaders, with credibility
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable with high-volume outreach without sacrificing precision on targeting
  • Coachable, with a growth mindset and a demonstrated ability to turn feedback into measurably better results
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo)

Functional expertise:

  • Exposure to financial services, enterprise tech, or regulated industries a plus
  • Interest in web3, blockchain, or distributed systems (not required, but valuable)
  • Comfortable learning and articulating technical concepts to a business audience
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC/MEDPICC)
