Job Description:

As a Sales Development Manager, you will provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance to a team of SDRs, ultimately driving revenue. This available role impacts one of the largest lines of business in the company through pipeline generation, and contributes to molding the future talent and leaders of Darktrace. This leader will play a key role in the strategy and execution of Darktrace’s Sales Development Academy. Learn more about our SDR Academy at https://www.darktrace.com/sdr-academy

 

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, oversee, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives
  • Forecast performance based on team productivity, as well as drive productivity gains over time
  • Develop and monitor successful outbound prospecting strategies
  • Facilitate the ramp up for all new team members, coaching them to success
  • Evaluate trends to identify areas for improvement and surface best-practices
  • Work alongside SDR Director to ensure promotion readiness for tenured SDRs
  • Cross-collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Talent and RevOps to align on go-to-market strategies, develop training curriculums, and meet performance and hiring goals

 

Qualifications:

  • Experienced in 3+ years of hi-tech, cycle direct sales
  • Experience scaling SDR teams and leading through transformation (from high volume to high quality prospecting tactics)
  • Familiar with SaaS, Cloud and Cyber/AI concepts
  • Experience with Salesforce, SEPs (SalesLoft/Outreach), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn SalesNav
  • Passionate about coaching, mentorship, team management and stakeholder partnerships
  • A self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace
  • Proven in your track record of success exceeding personal and team quotas
  • Able to work cross-functionally, leveraging your organizational and time management expertise
  • Strong command optimizing talent, operations, tech, and data teams with the needs of SDR org
  • 3-Day a week In-Office requirement (Charlotte, NC or Arlington, VA)
