Structural Building Solutions is seeking full-time, on-site Sales Coordinators for multiple locations: Thurmont, MD; Trinity, NC; and Bishopville, SC. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team by managing order details, coordinating with design and production teams, and ensuring accurate and timely communication with clients. This role grows in responsibility across levels, from basic data entry and administrative support to advanced coordination, technical knowledge, and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities (All Levels)

• Accurately enter and maintain sales order information in company systems.
• Coordinate communication between sales, design, and production teams.
• Ensure customer and project information is complete and organized.
• Support the sales process by preparing documentation and following up on project requirements.

Role Breakdown by Level

Level 1 – Sales Coordinator (Entry / Data Entry Level)

Primary Focus: Data entry, administrative support, and learning company processes.

Responsibilities:
• Enter and maintain customer, order, and project data in systems with accuracy.
• Track and file jobsite documents and order confirmations.
• Assist in gathering required information for quotes and orders.
• Provide clerical support to Sales Coordinators and Sales Representatives.
• Learn company products, order processes, and basic terminology.
• Develop teamwork skills by following directions, asking questions when clarification is needed, and assisting colleagues on basic tasks when requested.
• Begin contributing to business growth by observing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting basic improvements to support efficiency.

Expected Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Basic computer and office software proficiency.
• Ability to follow procedures and seek guidance when necessary.

Level 2 – Sales Coordinator (Intermediate)

Primary Focus: Supporting sales processes with increasing independence and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate directly with sales, design, and production to ensure project information flows smoothly.
• Understand basic construction/jobsite schedules to anticipate sequencing needs.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing cost estimates and order details.
• Support simple design and takeoff requests in coordination with design staff.
• Communicate directly with customers for order confirmations and clarifications.
• Demonstrates teamwork by actively supporting colleagues in coordination tasks, sharing information, and stepping in to resolve issues that impact the broader team.
• Contribute to scaling the business by actively participating in process improvements, streamlining coordination workflows, and supporting initiatives that improve efficiency.

Expected Skills & Knowledge:
• Good working knowledge of company products and how they are used by customers.
• Familiarity with construction sequencing and delivery schedules.
• Ability to resolve common coordination issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Active participation in team and business growth initiatives.

Level 3 – Senior Sales Coordinator (Advanced / Lead Level)

Primary Focus: Strategic coordination, mentorship, and business growth leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including application of products on jobsites.
• Anticipate client needs and proactively coordinate with sales, design, and production to deliver solutions.
• Support sales processes by analyzing costs, reviewing production estimates, and initiating orders independently.
• Perform and/or assist with simple designs and takeoffs.
• Mentor junior Sales Coordinators (Levels 1 & 2), providing guidance, best practices, and training.
• Partner with Sales Representatives on strategic accounts and complex projects.
• Demonstrates a proactive, team-oriented attitude by taking ownership of tasks and supporting colleagues beyond defined responsibilities when needed, ensuring collective success over individual roles.
• Contribute to scaling the business by identifying and leading process improvements, streamlining coordination workflows, and supporting initiatives that drive growth and efficiency across the sales function.
• Foster the company’s cultural guidelines through daily words and behaviors—internally across departments and externally with customers and partners—to set a standard of professionalism, collaboration, and solution-oriented leadership.
