As a Sales Operations Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to commercial excellence and operational efficiency across our organization. Lead a team to optimize sales processes, enhance productivity, and support revenue growth through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives. Partner with sales leadership, finance, and cross-functional teams to implement best practices, manage sales compensation programs, and ensure successful execution of commercial strategies. Your expertise will help enable our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or related business functions

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams

  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Excel)

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in sales compensation, quota management, and incentive programs

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and operational excellence initiatives

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with senior leadership

  • Experience working effectively in a matrix organization

  • Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights

  • Strong business partnering skills and customer-centric mindset

  • Travel up to 20% as needed

  • Experience with territory alignment and sales planning processes

  • Proficiency in developing dashboards, reports and analytics to drive business decisions

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $93,800.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
