Job Summary
This role provides risk management support for various business activities across Deriva, including enterprise risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and market risk departments. The Risk Analyst will work with business units in collaboration with teammates and managers, to support the risk management function.
This is an in-person position located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance risk management and internal assessments
Act as a liaison between business unit representatives, SOX consultants, Brookfield, etc.
Support SOX program compliance across the organization
Provide risk reporting and analysis to management and supported business teams
Consult with internal business teams on risk identification, analysis, and mitigation
Support internal audits, as needed
Collaborate with the Market Risk Manager to support trading activities and provide oversight
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related discipline
One (1) year or more of increasingly diverse or complex experience in public accounting, risk management, or related fields
Desired Qualifications
Master's Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related discipline
Three (3) years or more of increasingly diverse or complex experience in public accounting, risk management, or related fields
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new theories and applications
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills to facilitate interactions with other and the accomplishment of job responsibilities
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

In office schedule with option to work remotely one day per week
