What is The Role

To support our growth and enable us to scale efficiently, we are seeking an exceptional Revenue Operations Manager to own and execute on analysis, reporting, and tooling improvements that drive strategy and planning decisions, help drive strategy, planning, reporting, and analysis in our Global Elastic Education team. The RevOps Manager, Education will be responsible for the analytical and reporting aspects driving key business decisions for On-Demand and Instructor-Led (ILT) Education, including go-to-market strategies, process improvement, metrics and dashboards.

You must be able to work cross-functionally to drive efficiency and performance improvement across multiple operational and financial metrics globally. Using your SQL and Salesforce experience, you will build and maintain dashboards, lead process reviews, and implement workflow improvements to drive performance decision-making and help define, land, and execute on key Education strategic priorities. You will support running the business cadence, helping navigate the complexities of systems and tools as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems, design, manage, and successfully deliver projects against operational standards.

You will help scale and streamline the operations of Elastic’s Education business by providing the systems and business insights the organization needs to optimize performance, effectiveness and productivity. As well as be a proactive driver of change, always looking for opportunities to improve the performance of the Education business.

The RevOps Manager, Education enjoys analyzing data on Training consumption, adoption, usage trends, and growth forecasting. You love disrupting the inefficient and are not afraid to "get your hands dirty". Reporting to the RevOps Senior Director, Services & Education, this person will be results-oriented, flexible, and eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Partner closely with leadership to develop actionable, measurable projects and programs that accelerate Education bookings and revenue growth, and improve productivity.
  • Perform in-depth analyses and modeling on the leading, in-process, and lagging indicators to support strategic initiatives across both ILT and On-Demand Training, as well as identify trends and opportunities.
  • Build, maintain, and improve systems, tools and dashboards to support the needs of the team and key stakeholders.
  • Engage in ad-hoc analyses to understand business performance/user metrics, Key Performance Indicators and provide concise summaries and recommendations to management on topics from go-to-market strategies, resource allocation and more.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of processes, policy and tools to drive productivity and remove friction in the Education organization
  • Work closely with internal teams and maintain clear and consistent communication with all internal partners, providing regular updates, challenges, and successes.
What You Bring 
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree
  • BS/BA or equivalent required
  • 5+ years work experience in a Sales or Field Operations, Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, or similar field in SaaS organizations with strong exposure to go-to-market strategy.
  • 2+ years work experience in a Training & Certification organization
  • Knowledge of the Education technology landscape in tech
  • Experience with the Salesforce.com platform, Education lab platform and LMS
  • Power user proficiency with the Gsuite
  • SQL experience
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentations.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven
  • Highly collaborative, working on cross functional tooling fixes, owning reporting workflows, or jumping into broken processes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.


Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$106,900$169,100 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$128,200$202,700 USD
