Who are we looking for?

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Revenue Analyst, Revenue Management Systems in the Revenue Management Dept, Pricing Strategy & Revenue Analytics Team. The Pricing Strategy & Revenue Analytics team supports franchisees with our revenue management systems which function is to support hotels in growing revenue. As a key member of our Pricing & Revenue Analytics team you will be part of the primary system support for hotels with questions and training for our revenue management system at the individual hotel level, including system configuration updates and meeting with hotels for individualized training and onboarding set-up for our revenue management system.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Onboarding Go-Live process for Choice Revenue Management Systems (RMS), including initial training and system configuration setup.
  • Support all efforts related to the property-level use and configuration of Choice’s RMS including actioning and responding to hotel system ticket requests.
  • Work directly with hotel owners and managers to ensure RMS configuration accuracy as determined by internal tickets and direct communication with hotels, including individualized training and systems review meetings.
  • Evaluate System Health and outreach to properties as determined by monthly system audits.
  • Identify inaccuracies at the property level through reporting and analysis.
  • Deliver ongoing training initiatives and education support to hotel owners and managers.
  • Cross-functional support collaboration with internal teams.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies  

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality, travel and tourism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient in hotel revenue management systems and rate management tools.
  • Working knowledge of any automated revenue management system preferred, with IDeaS Elevate being a plus.
  • Understanding of the hotel industry’s technology and distribution landscape, including RMS, PMS, CRS, and external channel connectivity.
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include action oriented, ensures accountability and communicates effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and results in writing and through speech to partner teams, team members, and hotel owners/franchisees.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review data and draw conclusions about performance and the impact of various projects and/or technology solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to work simultaneously on multiple initiatives and priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, persistence, and resolve in creative problem solving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Experience collaborating and building strategic relationships via virtual meeting platforms – Zoom, WebEx, etc.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Manager, Revenue Management Systems. You will have 8 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Revenue Analyst, Revenue Management Systems, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $64,000 to $75,000 annually.
