Job Overview:

The Repapering Partner in Business Transitions works with Regional Transition Partners and Transition Support Partners on projects that support recruits who are transitioning their practice to LPL Financial. The Repapering Partner’s core responsibilities will be to create the New Account, Transfer (ACAT), and Move Money paperwork required to move the advisor’s business from their old broker dealer to LPL.

The Repapering Partner will display a thorough understanding of how all paperwork is completed and their dependency on one another to move an entire book of business. The Repapering Partner is a subject matter expert on the art of repapering and must demonstrate a high level of LPL technical knowledge, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Repapering Support – Provide repapering support to aid new advisors in moving their book of business to LPL Financial. Repapering support will be provided virtually and will include opening accounts, cash management and transfer paperwork.

  • SmartSheet Tracking – Leverage this tool to communicate back and forth with advisors on items that are complete, in process and/or Not In Good Order.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience with Outlook, Word, and Excel required

Core Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactive, critical thinker who can work with little direction once given a project

  • Multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional active listening skills and the ability to synthesize information from verbal communication to understand underlying needs and priorities

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software, with a focus on supporting others in their technology adoption

Preferences:
  • New hires will be trained in all repapering functions to be set up for success, however, 1-2 years of experience in New Accounts or Operations

  • 1-2 years of experience in Business Transitions New Accounts or Operations

  • Experience supporting advisors in various lines of business (wirehouse, regional, independent, RIA, institutions and retirement plans)

  • Travel is highly encouraged for career development and provides valuable opportunities to support onsite needs and engage with advisors. While optional, these experiences are integral to advancement within the department

  • Experience with Box and Smartsheet


 

Pay Range:

$17.63-$29.36/hour
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
