Qualifications

Minimum

  • BS degree in Statistics/Mathematics, Reliability, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Systems Engineering,
  • Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in an engineering environment
  • Experience with:
    • Using FMECA and RAM analysis to guide the engineering design process and contribute to lifecycle support concepts.
    • Contributing to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, including system engineering management plans, requirements specifications, verification and test requirements, interface control documents, and integrated logistics data records
    • Developing system requirements and derived requirements. assisting with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
    • Management of the requirements for reliability, availability, and maintenance and sparing
  • Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere.
  • US citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Experience developing Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and integrating the results and data with RAM and integrated logistics records and processes
  • Experience with defining failure detection methods, failure mitigations, and linking the mitigations into the test and verification process
  • Work experience with US Department of Defense, and related use of Military reliability references (i.e. MIL-HDBK-217F Reliability Prediction of Electronic Equipment, DoD Reliability and Maintainability Engineering Management Body of Knowledge, etc).
