Job summaryAs a Reference Data Specialist IV in Reference Data Operations, you will support the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of client records across multiple systems. You will help ensure data quality, timely processing, and adherence to established controls while partnering with teams across regions. You will contribute to meeting service targets through strong execution, clear communication, and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities- Set up and maintain client records in designated systems to support completeness, accuracy, and timely processing.
- Maintain work logs and documentation to support auditability and operational controls.
- Investigate and resolve data exceptions and aged items, escalating non-routine issues when needed.
- Process requests from internal partners by managing workflow and prioritization to meet agreed timelines.
- Respond to inquiries through approved channels (mailbox, phone, and email) and provide clear status updates.
- Apply established controls and quality checks to ensure work meets required standards and targets.
- Support production coverage activities, including backup tasks, to maintain operational continuity.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements by proposing practical solutions.
- Work effectively with stakeholders across time zones and participate in shift coverage as required, including local holidays and weekends.
- 2 years of experience in a banking or financial services operations environment.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to investigate issues, ask questions, and drive items to closure with appropriate follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a global team across multiple regions and time zones.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including local holidays and weekends, as business needs require.
- Experience supporting trade finance, payments, or cash management products.
- University degree in a relevant field.
Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence.
