About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the recruiting team with coordination, communication, and operational tasks while getting hands-on exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle.

 

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and schedule phone screens, onsite interviews, and virtual interviews across multiple time zones.
  • Facilitate onsite interviews, including preparing and organizing interview rooms, ensuring all equipment is tested and functioning properly, and supporting smooth day-of interview logistics.
  • Manage all interview logistics, including rooms, materials, and candidate support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring timely communication and a welcoming experience.
  • Manage candidate communication and ensure a smooth, professional experience.
  • Support job postings across platforms and ensure consistent branding.
  • Maintain accurate data in our Applicant Tracking System and recruiting trackers.
  • Assist with sourcing and initial outreach to candidates as needed.
  • Support recruiting team with ad hoc projects, reporting, and process improvements.
  • Learn the fundamentals of recruiting, TA operations, and candidate experience.
  • Take initiative to learn and support across all areas of talent acquisition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources or related field.
  • Involvement in college (clubs, athletics, student org leadership, campus jobs, internships, etc.) demonstrating initiative, teamwork, or project ownership.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with strong follow-through.
  • Confident communicator across email, phone, and video.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using spreadsheets, dashboards, and data.
  • Hungry to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast-moving environment.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, MacBook; ATS experience a plus.
