Role Requirements
Previous experience working with software solutions and promoting its quality, ideally in an Agile environment
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)
Verbal and written communication skills; especially when verbally communicating and writing defects in a language that audiences of different backgrounds can understand
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Strong attention to detail
Can work independently and also collaborate well with other team members remotely
Documentation writing skills
Comfortable taking quality ownership and contributing to preventing problems
Role Responsibilities
Regularly create and update test scenarios/cases
Review software requirements & designs to identify user flow gaps, and opportunities for software quality improvement
Identify and clearly report on defects and unintentional software behaviour
Perform manual testing for our web and mobile applications
Perform isolation testing and conduct root cause analysis for our web and mobile applications as needed
Meet deadlines and have all required testing activities complete prior to release
Employ various testing techniques when needed (API, performance, accessibility, localization testing)
