 Role Requirements

• Previous experience working with software solutions and promoting its quality, ideally in an Agile environment

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)

• Verbal and written communication skills; especially when verbally communicating and writing defects in a language that audiences of different backgrounds can understand 

• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Can work independently and also collaborate well with other team members remotely

• Effectively able to work in a faced paced environment

• Documentation writing skills

• Comfortable taking quality ownership and contributing to preventing problems 

Role Responsibilities

• Regularly create and update test scenarios/cases

• Review software requirements & designs to identify user flow gaps, and opportunities for software quality improvement

• Identify and clearly report on defects and unintentional software behaviour 

• Perform manual testing for our web and mobile applications

• Perform isolation testing and conduct root cause analysis for our web and mobile applications as needed

• Meet deadlines and have all required testing activities complete prior to release

• Employ various testing techniques when needed (API, performance, accessibility, localization testing)
