Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Publisher Development Manager at Freestar, you’ll leverage your industry contacts and identify new prospects to establish, lead, and deliver on a significant number of revenue-generating partnerships with publishers. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. Job responsibilities will include the following:
- Actively prospect new business opportunities with high-volume outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, virtual meetings, and onsite customer meetings
- Proactively identify mid-tier, premium publishers and relentlessly present the Freestar pitch in a compelling way
- Managing the pipeline to ensure that you're achieving sales and revenue targets and growing the business
- Close high-value deals
- Work closely and communicate regularly with your supervisor on active deals and challenges
- Collaborate with senior management to close deals
- Maintain accurate records in Freestar’s CRM
Qualifications
- 3-5 years, consistent track record in Publisher Development
- Possess knowledge of the digital media space and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Customer-focused attitude with relationship management skills
- Creative problem solving capabilities
- Effective presentation and communications skills
- Ability to work independently
- The mindset of a Hunter; you drive change and you’re self-motivated
