Above and Beyond Therapy is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to lead our evaluation services for children suspected of having autism in the North Carolina. This is an ideal role for a candidate with an interest in assessment and diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders.
What you will be doing as a Licensed Psychologist at ABT:
Conduct standardized assessments for autism evaluations including but not limited to: ADOS-2, CARS-2, ASRS, BASC-3, Vineland-3, DAS-II, DP-4 (training will be provided as needed)
Write diagnostic evaluation reports based on interpretation of test results
Provide diagnostic findings, recommendations, and feedback for families based on assessment results, and in collaboration with regional psychologist
Some travel within the region is required
What you will bring:
Applicants must have completed their Doctorate degree in clinical, counseling or school psychology and be licensed in NC.
Experience with psychological assessment of children, preferably with autism and other developmental differences
Previous education in developmental disorders and related differential diagnosis
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
Natural ability to connect with children and parents.
