Supports the organization's sales growth by owning the end-to-end proposal and RFP development process, ensuring high-quality, timely responses that align with customer requirements and SEECO's strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools preferred.
  • Experience in proposal writing or sales support in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with proposal or CRM software a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • Own the proposal development process from initial receipt through final submission, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
  • Work with the sales, marketing, and operations departments to solicit, review, and write responses to RFPs and customer inquiries.
  • Review quotation orders and resolve order acceptance issues in coordination with the sales team.
  • Consult with customers to understand proposal needs, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment with SEECO's product capabilities.
  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, standard content, and past submissions to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Track proposal outcomes and provide feedback to the sales team and Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Special projects or analysis to support requests as needed.
  • Follow SEECO's safety and quality guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This role offers a defined career path within the Sales & Marketing department based on demonstrated performance, skills, and organizational contribution:

  • Sales and Marketing Coordinator - entry-level support for sales and marketing programs and events.
  • Proposal Administrator (current role) - owns the proposal and RFP process for the sales team.
  • Territory Manager - manages an assigned geographic territory and drives revenue growth; typically requires demonstrated sales aptitude and product knowledge.
  • Director of Sales and Marketing - leads the full sales and marketing function; typically requires 5+ years of management experience.
  • Advancement is supported through on-the-job training, product knowledge development, and performance evaluations conducted in partnership with the Director of Human Resources.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend and reach for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

Primarily office environment. Occasional visits to the manufacturing floor and customer sites require PPE such as steel toe boots and safety glasses.
