The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000–$100,000. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
Job SummaryThis role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and works closely with the Operations Team and Senior Process Engineer. The Process Engineer is recognized for strong theoretical engineering knowledge, a solid understanding of core manufacturing processes, and foundational project management skills.
This position supports operations, planning, maintenance, and quality initiatives related to the Lexington Base Machines, with a focus on healthcare materials. The role also contributes to ISO initiatives and leads center-lining efforts to optimize asset performance. Success in this position requires strong collaboration, problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset.
This is an onsite role based at the mill in Lexington, North Carolina, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects
- Define project scope and proactively identify and mitigate risks across the facility
- Deliver results aligned with business objectives and performance goals
- Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of production processes and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company safety and quality standards
- Manage process specifications and collaborate with external partners, including engineering service providers and equipment vendors
- Participate in ISO initiatives and lead center-lining and continuous improvement efforts
- Support cross-functional teamwork and drive operational progress
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Process Engineering or a related scientific/engineering discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Experience working with global teams is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed to support operations and technology development
