Company Profile

At Sand Cherry Associates, we excel in the design and delivery of strategic customer-centric initiatives through digitally native, data-empowered solutions.  Our client’s confidence in us is centered on exceptionally skilled, high-energy talent working with the support of the full Sand Cherry team.  Finding the right match for this role is a critical aspect of continuing that success.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the rollout of one of our client's largest and most complex digital transformation initiatives. This role will provide dedicated coordination, planning, and tracking across the franchise rollout lifecycle, from pre-go-live data readiness through rollout planning, training, go-live, and hypercare. The Project Manager will work closely with the Program Lead, franchise owners, and cross-functional Data, Product, and technical teams to ensure each franchise is prepared for a successful launch. Because rollout waves will overlap, this role will simultaneously support franchises in hypercare while preparing the next cohort for rollout. The Project Manager will operate in support of the Program Lead. Overall program accountability and final franchise-readiness decisions will remain with the Program and Product Leads. This is a remote opportunity working EST hours. Limited periodic travel may be required, including occasional travel with program leadership to gain firsthand exposure to the franchise rollout process. All qualified candidates must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Key Responsibilities

•        Partner with and support the Program Lead at the franchise level to execute rollout plans from readiness through go-live and post-launch support.

·       Maintain franchise readiness checklists and rollout plans, including: actions and dependencies, data inputs and validation requirements, owners and due dates, validation evidence, exceptions and remediation plans

•        Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and escalate issues to the appropriate program leadership.

•        Serve as a day-to-day coordination point for franchise stakeholders by facilitating meetings, documenting decisions and action items, and providing concise updates on status, risks, and next steps.

•        Partner with franchises and Data and Product teams to ensure source data meets ingestion requirements and coordinate pre-load and post-load validation activities.

•        Identify and troubleshoot rollout blockers, escalating issues when appropriate and ensuring timely resolution.

•        Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve the rollout methodology for future franchise waves.

•        Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure the rollout methodology is repeatable, scalable, and consistently executed.

•        Coordinate training activities and go-live logistics as required, ensuring franchise participants understand expectations, timelines, and responsibilities.

•        Coordinate with the Program Lead on rollout communications, meeting notes, action tracking, and clear “what to expect” guidance for franchise participants.

•        Coordinate hypercare activities, including support chats, support bridges, and end-of-day calls.

•        Capture, categorize, route, and track post-launch issues through resolution or formal disposition, escalating critical or aging issues to the program team.

•        Ensure outstanding actions and issues are closed or formally handed off to the appropriate owner.

•        Maintain updates within the overall program integrated plan as required.

•        Provide additional project coordination and tracking support to the Program Lead as needed throughout the rollout lifecycle.

Requirements

Requirements

•        5–7 years of project or program management experience, preferably supporting technology implementations, digital transformation, system rollouts, or multi-site deployments.

•        Strong organizational skills, follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities.

•        Demonstrated ability to work effectively with franchise owners, program leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

•        Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate meetings, drive action items, and communicate status to a variety of audiences.

•        Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, and executive-status reporting skills.

•        Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Jira, and Visio.

•        Sound judgment and proactive problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize risks, determine when escalation is appropriate, and drive issues toward resolution.

•        Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where multiple rollout waves and priorities are occurring simultaneously.

•        Experience supporting data readiness, data validation, training, go-live, or hypercare activities is a plus.

Education

•        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
