Your Core Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of high-impact initiatives that align with business objectives, ensuring successful delivery against key milestones.
- Work closely with leadership, business units, and cross-functional teams to align on project goals, secure buy-in, and drive execution.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to assess challenges, evaluate opportunities, and recommend solutions.
- Ensure seamless implementation of strategic initiatives by managing risks, fostering adoption, and embedding change within the organization.
- Define key success metrics, track progress, and report on project outcomes to leadership.
- Support the identification of strategic priorities to help IMC achieve its rapid growth ambitions over the next years.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and best practices to inform project execution and strategic decision-making.
- The role will be part of the business strategy team, locally and globally, and will report to the Director of US Business Strategy in the Chicago office.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm (project leader/engagement manager level or equivalent) or proven track record in a comparable role at a top-tier prop trading firm. STEM background strongly preferred (Physics, Math, Econometrics or equivalent)
- Ability to synthesize complex data, generate insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Hands-on experience leading cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution, preferably in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, from senior executives to operational teams, and influence key stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering measurable impact through structured and results-oriented project execution.
- Experience in financial markets, technology-driven business models, or a related fast-paced industry is preferred.
