Zayo is seeking a results-driven Project Manager - NOC Projects, Automation, & Ticketing Systems to lead and support key initiatives within our Network Operations Center (NOC), focusing on automation, new ticketing system implementation, and continuous development efforts. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, drive strategic execution, and ensure alignment with organizational goals, while managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
For this role, the team is open to this position working remotely within the United States.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management for NOC-related initiatives including process automation, ticketing platform migration or upgrades, and development of internal tools.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, automation, and IT teams to gather requirements, define scope, and establish delivery milestones.
Manage vendor relationships related to ticketing systems and automation tools.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including project plans, risk logs, status reports, and change requests.
Facilitate meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organization.
Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks to ensure timely delivery.
Promote adoption of automation and digital tools across NOC teams to improve operational efficiency.
Track and report KPIs and metrics to evaluate project outcomes and ROI.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or high school diploma and related experience required.
PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certification strongly preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, preferably within a telecom or NOC environment.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development or scripting with a focus on automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) preferred.
Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Proven experience managing technical projects involving automation and service. management/ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira).
Strong understanding of NOC operations, incident management, and ITIL best practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Estimated Base Salary Range: $78,500 - $112,100 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
