The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact technical projects associated with the implementation of improved and
enhanced care management data exchange processes via NC HealthConnex. This work is federally funded under an existing Advance Planning Document (APD). Beyond the work with NC Medicaid, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for engaging with other payers to support exchange of claims and other supplementary information. n collaboration with the HIEA Program Manager, the HMS Senior IT Project Manager, and the HMS Program Lead, the role manages assigned HMS workstreams and supports oversight of the technical implementation vendor in close collaboration with NC Medicaid. This role requires expertise in applying recognized project management methodologies, understanding complex systems and claims exchange, and requires significant collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple internal divisions, vendors, and external state agencies.
