At Counterpart Health (CPH), we are transforming healthcare and improving patient care with our innovative primary care tool, Counterpart Assistant (CA). By supporting Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), we are able to deliver improved outcomes to patients at a lower cost through early diagnosis and longitudinal care management of chronic conditions.
We are seeking a high impact Business Operations and Strategy Manager. This is a pivotal role for an analytical and execution-oriented operator who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, operations, and systems design. You will partner with leadership to lead mission-critical initiatives that shape CPH’s go-to-market efforts, optimize internal operations, and support data-driven decision-making. From leading strategic analyses to standing up scalable processes, you'll ensure clarity, alignment, and impact across the organization. This is a pivotal role for someone who excels at driving clarity and execution in a fast-paced environment and is highly adaptable and able to pivot quickly based on shifting business priorities.
As a Business Operations and Strategy Manager, you will:
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives: Identify and program manage high-leverage projects across CPH, including large customer implementations, commercial and operational scale-up efforts, and other emerging initiatives.
- Architect scalable systems: Build and refine the operational infrastructure to enable sustainable growth – processes, tools, playbooks, dashboards.
- Drive analytical rigor: Collect and analyze business data, generate insights, and present recommendations to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
- Build executional rigor: Translate high-level goals into clear plans with workstreams, owners, deliverables, and timelines. Keep the team focused on outcomes.
- Align stakeholders across functions: Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution and deliver results without relying on formal authority.
- Translate ambiguity into action: When no playbook exists, build one. When priorities are unclear, force rank them. When coordination breaks down, rebuild the system.
- Be a thought partner to leadership: Proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities; act as an internal consultant to the CEO and leadership team.
Success in this role looks like:
- First 90 days: Develop a deep understanding of CPH’s business and customer needs, build strong cross-functional relationships, and implement a structured framework for large customer implementations.
- First 6 months: Identify a portfolio of high-priority initiatives, establish a framework for tracking strategic efforts, lead 1-2 additional cross-functional projects to completion, and introduce systems or processes that enhance operational clarity and execution.
- First year: Reduce organizational friction points, generate measurable improvements across multiple initiatives, and become a trusted advisor to leadership.
You should get in touch if:
- You have had 3-8 years of experience at a consulting firm, in BizOps at a tech company, or in a high-trust internal strategy/Chief of Staff-type role.
- You understand value-based care and healthcare operations in payor and provider organizations.
- You think in structured logic, write with precision, speak in synthesized insights, and distill complex problems into actionable plans.
- You’re a system builder who wants to see the impact of your thinking play out in operations.
- You’ve driven complex, multi-org initiatives to the finish line – not just advised on them.
- You’re energized by ambiguity, interested in building processes from the ground up, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You are comfortable with shifting priorities and able to pivot quickly based on business needs.
- You don’t need positional authority to lead. You earn trust and create alignment through clarity, quality, and velocity.
