What You’ll Do
As the Manager of Network Business Strategy & Supplier Operations, you will play a key role in driving the strategic, operational, and commercial success of Lambda’s network portfolio. This includes managing a team responsible for supplier management and provisioning operations, while also serving as a critical support partner to senior leadership in scaling the business.
You’ll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, and Product teams to ensure Lambda’s network strategy is aligned with company priorities, financially sound, and operationally scalable. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to execute while managing up and across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for supplier management, provisioning operations, and delivery support.
Serve as a trusted partner and right hand to senior leadership—helping manage workload overflow, drive execution, and support strategic decision-making.
Own network procurement, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations aligned with Lambda’s business goals.
Monitor supplier performance, SLAs, and delivery health, ensuring accountability and alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive operational excellence at the support site level, optimizing processes and team effectiveness.
Identify trends, performance insights, and supplier innovations to evolve Lambda’s network products.
Collaborate with Finance and Engineering on capacity planning, forecasting, and investment assessments (AORs).
Conduct commercial analysis and risk evaluations to inform investment and sourcing decisions.
Prepare business cases, reporting, and executive-level recommendations to support strategic planning.
About You
Proven experience managing teams in network operations, supplier/vendor management, or business strategy roles.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a bias for execution.
Effective communicator with experience preparing materials for and working with senior leadership.
Collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and understands how to manage up, down, and across.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience leading provisioning/support operations and influencing product or infrastructure roadmaps.
Background in supplier negotiation, commercial modeling, or infrastructure procurement.
