As the Program Manager of Performance, you will be central to driving Zillow’s performance management processes and systems. Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, you will coordinate the operational and communications infrastructure for our annual performance cycles, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a seamless experience for employees, managers, and HR partners. Your work will help shape how Zillow evaluates impact and growth, and you will play a key role in evolving our performance programs to meet the needs of our people and business.
You Will Get ToBuild expertise in Zillow’s annual performance routines and related technology, using historical documentation and user feedback to inform improvements.
Maintain and update project plans for performance programs, tracking milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder updates to keep workstreams aligned.
Coordinate and document planning meetings, ensuring outputs are reflected in project plans and communications.
Serve as the first point of contact for program-related questions, monitoring channels and escalating issues as needed.
Capture and organize product and user feedback to inform retrospectives and future program enhancements.
Support troubleshooting and documentation needs, validating issues and assisting with timely communications or updates.
Create and maintain templates, toolkits, and resources to support stakeholders throughout the performance cycle.
Collaborate with People Product and Technology Enablement teams to test and document performance management tools, ensuring clarity and usability for all users.
4–6 years of experience in Program Management, HR Operations, or Talent Management, with exposure to performance management or similar enterprise-wide talent processes.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and day-to-day operations.
Collaborative mindset and experience partnering across functions such as Compensation, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition.
Clear and concise communicator, skilled at writing and editing content across formats (Slack, email, documentation).
Technologically fluent in HR platforms (e.g., Workday) and eager to explore and adopt new tools, especially AI-driven solutions.
Experience supporting technology testing, internal communications, and knowledge management.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, etc.), or equivalent experience.
