Product Specialist: 

  • Works closely with internal business partners to deliver the full capabilities of Vanguard’s offer to our clients.  

  • Partners with aligned field sales teams to position sales ideas and ways we can increase engagement with prioritized clients.  

  • Possesses a deep understanding of the advisor industry, trends in the marketplace, and competitor products and offerings.  

  • Important input to overall client strategies with an eye on flawless execution.  

  • Utilizes data to understand trends and assess best opportunities.  

  • Can communicate effectively with clients and all levels of the organization.  

  • Manages the sales opportunity pipeline, provides regular updates, and thinks creatively about how to win new business.  

What it takes: 

  • Five years related work experience. At least two years of working within intermediary advisor distribution. National accounts experience preferred. 

  • Undergraduate required. Graduate degree preferred. 

  • CFA, CIMA, CFP, etc preferred. 

  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
