The Product Owner will lead the Agile development teams driving customer success. In addition to gathering, documenting, and curating business requirements and maintaining the project backlog, the Product Owner will ensure that OneMagnify Agile Development methodology is observed. This includes scheduling and facilitating Agile ceremonies, working with the development and quality assurance teams to clarify requirements and unblock the development process as needed. This individual will play a critical role ensuring that the business requirements and implemented solutions will meet the client’s needs and will deliver significant value to the client’s organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate OneMagnify Agile Methodology and report on team status in biweekly governance
  • Document, analyze and map client requirements working with clients, project managers and/or account management
  • Produce high quality functional requirements documentation in the form of Agile based user stories
  • Validate non-functional requirements, ensure use cases are fully documented and maintain traceability matrix
  • Coordinate efforts to review and seek requirement approval with internal and external clients
  • Facilitate grooming of requirements and prioritization of the product backlog
  • Participate in new business proposal assisting with proposed solution documentation and client presentation
  • Experience with communication and coordination of functional requirements with offshore development team
  • Manage and facilitate Agile ceremonies
  • Identify/suggest improvements to requirement tools, templates and processes
  • Develop product and domain knowledge and expertise
  • Document testing scenarios and serve as subject matter expert supporting the validation that deliverables match requirements
  • Assist as necessary with user acceptance activities with client team
  • Conducts application walkthrough to the training and documentation team
  • Validate newly deployed code to ensure new functionality has been implemented

What You'll Need:

  • Experience with Agile Development Methodology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Jira project tracking software a plus
  • Quick learner and self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or a technology related field
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus
  • Experience working within a global Agile team and familiarity with SCRUM methodology
  • Experience in customer-facing, consultative roles in professional technology consulting firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Quick learner and self-starter
