About the Role:
As a Product Operations Manager - Portfolio, you play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our R&D investments to maximize customer and business outcomes. You'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge analytical tools and frameworks that enable effective planning and data-driven decision-making. You'll develop and refine systems to assess our product development portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and optimizing resource allocation across diverse projects to maximize returns and minimize risks.
By leveraging advanced analytics and technology, you'll monitor portfolio performance against key metrics, providing insightful reports and data-driven recommendations to senior management that influence high-level strategic directions. Collaborating with passionate internal stakeholders, you'll gather and interpret data to ensure our portfolio management strategies meet their needs, supporting key decisions with robust analytical insights. You'll also contribute to establishing and enhancing governance processes and frameworks, continuously evolving our portfolio analytics practices to stay ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve systems that manage the allocation of resources across different projects or initiatives within the portfolio system of record.
- Leverage advanced analytics to evaluate portfolio and product performance, uncovering valuable insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Monitor the performance of the portfolio against key metrics and benchmarks and provide regular reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Produce multi-level product roadmaps, and other reports as required from the portfolio system of record.
- Manage the governance of the product development lifecycle including processes and frameworks to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance within the portfolio.
- Ensure our system of record (Aha!) accurately reflects the current and planned work for product and engineering.
Your Key Strengths:
- 5-10 years related experience in Portfolio Management, Analytics, Project Management, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree (Business, Business Systems Admin, Finance)
- Process Improvement: Proficiency in identifying inefficiencies, analyzing workflows, and implementing process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions regarding portfolio management.
- Financial acumen: Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to effectively allocate resources and evaluate the financial performance of the portfolio.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate portfolio management strategies, updates, and reports to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to effectively plan, execute, and monitor portfolio initiatives and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience using Aha! Roadmaps, and Pendo, Software Experience Management System.
