Product Operations and Controls Senior Associate - Small & Midsized Payments
Job Description
Small & Midsized Payments (SMP) team continues to rapidly evolve as we respond to the growing needs of our clients. We are seeking a detail oriented team player who will drive Operational excellence across all of our channels and segments. This role within the product organization, blends elements of business strategy, root cause analysis, product ownership, operations management, program management and controls and systems analysts.
As the Product Operations and Controls Senior Associate, you must be highly organized, self-motivated, process and controls oriented, customer focused, and can coalesce a cross functional team to deliver improvements for our clients.
Job responsibilities
- You will define, document and communicate processes
- Utilize analytics to define new opportunities and examine performance
- Create incoming/outgoing wire policies and procedures
- Coordinate with team regarding production issues and provide feedback resolution
- Address customer impacts of major incidents
- Facilitate root cause analyses of customer pain points/friction
- You will communicate to all levels of the organization, including Executive Leadership
- You will assist with the ideation of creative customer experience solutions
- Deliver strategic projects to improve customer experience
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of product development support experience
- Ability to liaison between lines of business and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions, and vice versa
- Process improvement
- Proven track record of managing production and operational issues
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Controls focused
- Detailed understanding & experience of end-to-end software development frameworks like Agile, Scrum
- Well versed with JIRA; creating stories, tracking story progress, etc.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- F inancial Services experience strongly preferred
- Business Systems analysist experience
