Your work will directly shape how actuaries modernize their workflows and how insurers optimize their performance. Job Description

The Impact You Will Have
  • Own the Narrative: Define the go-to-market positioning for PricingCenter and Predict, from high-level category storytelling down to the technical proof points required for actuarial review.

  • Translate Complexity: Turn the underpinnings of pricing technology and predictive modeling into business-outcome conversations that land with technical leadership at insurers.

  • Build Technical Content: Develop high-credibility assets, including whitepapers, technical briefs, and data-driven case studies, that resonate with an actuarial audience.

  • Empower the Field: Create sales enablement tools, such as battlecards and objection-handling guides, that hold up under technical scrutiny and are practical for field teams to use.

  • Influence the Roadmap: Partner deeply with product management and engineering as a peer to bring new capabilities to market and influence the product roadmap based on actuarial feedback and market trends.

  • Thought Leadership: Deliver industry-focused presentations, keynotes, and deep-dive technical sessions at actuarial conferences and customer workshops.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape specifically related to insurance pricing and predictive analytics software to keep Guidewire’s story ahead of the market.

What We Look For
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product marketing, insurance-focused technical marketing, or actuarial software GTM at an enterprise software company.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of P&C insurance pricing workflows, predictive modeling, and the specific needs and pain points of the actuarial and data science persona.

  • Data Scientist: Experience in leveraging statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to drive actionable business insights, preferably within the insurance or actuarial sector.

  • Strategic Synthesis: Proven ability to synthesize complex actuarial concepts and data science into clear, sharp, and persuasive narratives for both technical and business audiences.

  • GTM Fluency: Experience with enterprise software or SaaS GTM strategies, including the ability to drive adoption and generate pipeline.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional writing and presentation skills. You can take dense technical input and shape it into messaging that is clear, sharp, and built to persuade at scale.

  • Technical depth: Comfortable discussing reference architectures and modeling concepts with data scientists, while distilling them into clear, visual narratives for executives. Proficiency in MLOps, Python, and R is highly desirable.
