About The Role

As the Product Marketing Lead of AI Simulation within Sandbox you will drive our solution’s adoption and market growth. Your primary mission is to drive commercial success by building strong brand equity, aligning customer needs with business objectives, and executing strategies that result in measurable revenue growth. You will bridge between product, business development and R&D teams, driving our success in industry segments such as life sciences, chemistry and materials sciences.  You are a master storyteller that will craft compelling positioning and messaging that highlights our value proposition based on market research on customer needs, trends, and competitors. You are a scientific communicator who will develop content, generate demand through targeted campaigns and track performance to refine strategies. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that highlight our products and services to relevant drug discovery, drug development and chemistry stakeholders across industry and the public sector. 
  • Value-Based Messaging to Drive Sales: Build compelling, value-based messages that directly address customer pain points, simplifying complex technical concepts to resonate with both technical and executive audiences, thereby facilitating sales and commercial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including managing external firms to create and execute marketing campaigns, drawing in qualified leads in Biopharma, Chemistry & Material Sciences.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis for Strategic Advantage: Stay ahead of market trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and understand customer behaviors to inform and adjust marketing strategies that position AISim for commercial success. Regularly assess how AISim differentiates in the market to support sales initiatives.
  • Create strong marketing content to support different stages of the customer journey  from awareness to lead generation to closing deals. Collaborate with content creators to develop marketing collateral that effectively communicates the value of AISim solutions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and make data-driven improvements in product marketing.  
  • Align Marketing with Business Objectives: Work closely with product, business development, and R&D teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with Sandbox’s overarching commercial goals. Provide insights and feedback to influence the solution roadmap in ways that drive market success and revenue growth.
  • Create strong marketing content including presentations, white papers, case studies and website contents to support different stages of the customer journey from awareness to lead generation and closing deals. 
  • Identify and collaborate with customers to develop compelling case studies and success stories that showcase impact of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with Hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, etc) and GTM partners to amplify our products and services reach. Design executive joint initiatives including co-branding content, webinars and events. 
  • Plan and execute co-branding campaigns with key partners, collaborate with partners to create co-marketing assets such as joint white papers, solution briefs and event sponsorships. 

Who you are

  • 7+ years of product marketing and relevant B2B marketing experience driving revenue growth, ideally with highly technical products in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. PhD in any of the scientific areas is desirable.
  • Expertise in storytelling, messaging, positioning, and product launches
  • Creating content for a range of environments, from presentations and data sheets to online ads, blogs, and white papers
  • Superior writing, editing and verbal communications skills with the ability to provide writing samples upon request
  • Experience with product naming, pricing, demo development/sales enablement, and go-to market planning
  • Equally comfortable collaborating with both technical colleagues and creative partners such as external marketing firms. 
  • A good understanding of the language describing artificial intelligence and quantum technology
  • Passionate in establishing and building a category-leading brand that will define the future of the AI, Quantum and Large Quantitative Model (LQM) ecosystem

The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $188k - $263k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
