RainFocus, one of the most innovative software companies in the heart of Utah's Silicon Slopes, is in search of an exceptional Product Marketing Intern.

About RainFocus

RainFocus cares about its employees, customers, and the world in which we live. Our rapidly growing team serves Fortune 500 companies like Adobe, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, VMware, and others to prepare and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, across the world. Those events are delivered through our industry-disrupting software platform, with groundbreaking business intelligence, to elevate the attendee experience, streamline event operations, and accelerate marketing results. We are well-funded, growing fast, and building a company that is changing the market — it will be challenging, fun and exciting.

About the Role

The Product Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience conducting market and customer research to support growth strategies, while collaborating across teams to help execute go-to-market plans. Over the course of this internship, you’ll work with product marketing and contribute to projects that shape how our platform is positioned, adopted, and loved by some of the most valued organizations and brands in the world.

This internship is ideal for students or early professionals looking to build foundational experience in B2B product marketing, SaaS, and enterprise tech.

What You'll Do:

  • Market & Customer Research: Synthesize interview data, competitive analysis, and market research to support scalable expansion into new verticals and use cases.
  • Strategic Alignment Artifacts: Contribute to the creation of clear, persuasive artifacts—such as strategic briefs, frameworks, and presentations—that align stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, and leadership around key priorities and timing.
  • Messaging & Value Propositions: Help craft and refine positioning and messaging that communicates the value of our platform in clear and compelling ways.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Assist in developing GTM materials and content for upcoming product or feature releases, including internal briefs and client-facing assets.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with demand and content marketing to develop blog posts, webinar decks, release notes, or sales enablement slides.
  • Sales & Customer Success Enablement: Help organize and maintain key messaging playbooks and sales tools that support new logo acquisition and existing client expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in weekly standups and planning sessions with product marketing, product management, and sales to learn Agile Marketing best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • You’re curious, insightful, and enjoy the challenge of making sense of complexity.
  • You know how to be persuasive and articulate your ideas in a way that’s inclusive, respectful, and invites collaboration—bringing people along with you, not just convincing them.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills—and you’re not afraid to ask questions or suggest new ideas.
  • You’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple small projects at once.
  • You’re interested in technology, marketing strategy, and the power of storytelling.

Bonus Skills:

  • Prior coursework or experience in marketing, communications, business strategy, or SaaS.
  • Exposure to enterprise marketing automation, CRM, or event technology
  • Understanding of customer journey experiences or account based marketing strategies.
  • Effective storytelling through virtual tools

What You'll Gain:

  • A fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment where your ideas are heard and valued within a high-growth technology leader.
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at how collaborative research and critical thinking inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with senior leaders across the organization and receive direct mentorship throughout the internship.
  • Experience driving cross-functional alignment, essential for go-to-market success.
  • A strong understanding of product marketing's role in SaaS and enterprise software.
