What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a curious, proactive, and tech-savvy Product Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team this summer. This role is a great fit for someone who loves storytelling, is eager to dig into market trends, and wants to be at the center of go-to-market strategy. As a Product Marketing Intern, you’ll collaborate closely with our Product Marketing team to help communicate the value of Contentstack’s platform—especially our Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP)—through messaging, competitive insights, and customer engagement programs.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Customer Research & Persona Development – Assist in refining and updating customer personas for Real-Time CDP by identifying new market segments and gathering insights via interviews or surveys with current customers.
- Competitive Analysis & Market Positioning – Conduct in-depth research on competing CDPs, analyzing product features, messaging strategies, and go-to-market positioning to help strengthen our competitive edge.
- Support the creation of product messaging and positioning materials, including one-pagers, pitch decks, and internal enablement content.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing team members on customer engagement initiatives, such as reference programs or case study content.
- Help maintain and organize product marketing documentation and key resources used across the business.
What really gets us excited about you?
- You’re currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- You have a natural sense of curiosity, are highly proactive, and enjoy learning about new technologies.
- You bring strong research and analytical skills and enjoy turning complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You’re excited about go-to-market strategy, competitive research, and customer storytelling.
- Bonus points if you’ve had experience with product marketing, SaaS, or customer data platforms (CDPs), even in a classroom or internship setting.
If you’re eager to make an impact, work cross-functionally, and grow your skills in product marketing at a fast-paced, innovative company—we’d love to hear from you!
Salary for this role is $20 per hour, up to 28 hours per week.
What Do We Offer?
Interesting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters. This is NOT your boring, routine, cushy, rest-and-vest corporate job. This is the “challenge yourself” role where you learn something new every day, never stop growing, and have fun while you’re doing it.
Tribe Vibe | We are more than colleagues, we are a tribe. We have a strict “no a**hole policy” and enforce it diligently. This means we spend time together - with spontaneous office happy hours, organized outings, and community volunteer opportunities. We are a diverse and distributed team, but we like to stay connected.
Bragging Rights | We are dreamers and dream makers. Our efforts pay off and we work with the most prestigious brands, from big-name retailers to airlines, to professional sports teams. Your contribution will make an impact with many of the most recognizable names in almost every industry including AirFrance KLM, ASICS, Burberry, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Walmart, and many more!
One Team One Dream | This is one of our values, and it shows. We don’t believe in artificial hierarchies. If you’re part of the tribe, you have an opportunity to contribute. Your voice will be heard and you will also receive regular updates about the business and its performance. Which, btw, is through the roof, so it’s a great time to be joining…
