This Product Manager will support the launch and scale the Vanguard Debit Card Program, a high-visibility initiative that will expand the Cash Plus account into everyday spending. This role will focus on delivering a best-in-class mobile experience, helping clients seamlessly manage, control, and engage with their debit card directly within the Vanguard app.

  • Build and enhance the mobile debit card experience within the Vanguard app, creating a seamless and intuitive client journey.
  • Lead SDK integrations and technical partnerships required to deliver debit card capabilities and embedded experiences.
  • Define and deliver a unified in-app card controls experience, enabling clients to manage their card, alerts, and preferences within a single destination.
    Ability and desire to shift seamlessly between client experience strategy and technical product execution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leads digital product management activities for multiple digital
    products, or one strategic product.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.digital product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Leads the planning, development and implementation of new digital products. Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications:

  • Payments experience not required; familiarity with transactional workflows, digital wallets, or card-based products is a plus.
  • Passion for creating intuitive, client-centered mobile experiences.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of  leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
