Telestream is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join their Workflow and Automation solutions team. This team is responsible for the product lines in Telestream covering media supply, content ingest and prep, and media enrichment. The position will involve product design, road mapping, customer/market analysis, and internal collaboration with other departments for training and marketing. Products covered will be both Telesteam’s award winning current generation of workflow solutions as well as our emerging technologies.


Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Empowered to prioritize and make decisions in alignment with overall company strategic and financial objectives.

- Collaborate hands-on with engineering and QA teams to execute product strategy, meeting customer and market requirements.

- Conduct thorough analysis of customer and market needs, translating them into clear and attainable product feature definitions, pricing strategies, go-to-market plans, and promotions.

- Foster collaboration across the organization throughout the entire product lifecycle to ensure timely and budget-compliant product launches.

- Serve as a product evangelist, enhancing awareness and understanding of our products through internal training, key customer presentations, and trade show demonstrations.

- Create the roadmap and drive the product vision through evaluation and successful implementation.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of Product Management experience or related experience in the Broadcast and Media Industry.

- Goal-driven individual with expertise in utilizing analytics, metrics, and KPIs to measure progress.

- Solid understanding of video encoding technologies and formats for broadcast, VOD and OTT applications.

- Experience with Media Supply Chain and Workflow Automation solutions.

- Knowledge of XML, Json, and broadcast industry specific variants like BXF.

- Experience with system orchestration technologies and automated QC applications is a plus.

- Experience with video editing solutions (Adobe and Avid) and interfacing with Asset Management System.

- Experience with Cloud computing platforms, storage and API based interactions.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by influence in navigating complex landscapes.
