ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Mobile Product Manager to own a portfolio of mobile apps. Product managers at Appex are business leaders who grow existing businesses or create new ones. Product managers are also great communicators who lead cross functional initiatives working alongside engineers, QA, UX and marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a business strategy and translate it into a product strategy and roadmap for your portfolio of products both at the app level and at the portfolio level

  • Drive execution of the roadmap by breaking down the roadmap into executable initiatives with clear requirements and milestones

  • Use data to measure impact, prioritize based on opportunities, identify learnings, define scalable and repeatable playbooks.

  • Optimize portfolio-level collaboration with growth to achieve target goals for your portfolio of products

  • Lead regular initiative meetings and own communication around recent launches, key product and business metrics, changes to roadmap priorities, and critical escalations

  • Partner with engineering, UX, marketing, and analytics to continue improving our processes and become a best-in-class product organization

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Customer driven: you empathize with customer problems and needs, and anchor your work back to solving for the customer

  • Biased for action: you operate with a sense of urgency, make good decisions with incomplete data, and are constantly optimizing for learning

  • A big thinker: you can look across your portfolio of products and business and are able to come up with a strategy that helps your team understand what needs to be done and why

  • An owner: you can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P&Ls

  • A data expert: you can analyze and understand large data sets and filter out the noise, distilling the complex to be simple. You can use this data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics in order to learn and make decisions

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fast-paced, mobile organizations

  • Mobile app experience a must

  • A plus if you have experience with: Subscription apps, International teams, Generative AI, A/B testing, Global products

PERKS & BENEFITS

  • An exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in the heart of the mobile app universe.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, because we believe in taking care of our team.

  • Flexibility to work remotely or in our vibrant office space – your choice!

  • Endless opportunities for growth and development, because we're all about helping you unleash your full potential.
