We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health

As Product Manager, Core Platform & Functional Admin Services, you will lead product strategy and execution for the essential backbone of the Komodo platform. This includes our foundational platform services and the Komodo Management Console—tools that enable customers to administer access, monitor usage, and govern their Komodo assets. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that every customer, from data novice to expert builder, has a seamless and secure experience managing their footprint within the Komodo ecosystem.

Depending on your interest and experience, you may be asked to take on product management responsibilities for additional cross-cutting platform capabilities.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo, you will have:

  • Shipped key enhancements to the Komodo Management Console, enabling customers to manage their users, assets, and consumption  securely
  • Delivered a scalable customer-facing external admin framework for role-based access control (RBAC), usage reporting, and organizational visibility
  • Defined a roadmap for core platform services, including authentication, permissions, audit logging, and usage telemetry
  • Partnered with engineering to implement foundational APIs and services that power all Komodo user experiences
  • Worked closely with customer-facing teams to understand and address common admin workflows and friction points
  • Led the design and implementation of internal tools that reduce friction and manual effort for support and operations teams
  • Collaborated with security and compliance teams to ensure platform readiness for enterprise customers
  • Supported customer conversations as the subject matter expert on Komodo’s administrative capabilities

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • Previous experience in product management at a healthcare, life sciences or digital health company supporting analytics platforms
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders to build and execute a strategic roadmap with clear prioritization
  • 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS; experience in healthcare or data platform companies strongly preferred
  • Track record of delivering platform capabilities such as authentication, admin portals, or enterprise governance tools
  • Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures and platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design intuitive, scalable admin experiences for both technical and non-technical users
  • Experience with user access and entitlement models, permissions frameworks, and audit/logging requirements
  • Deep empathy for internal users (support, implementation) and external users (admins, analysts, developers)
  • Excellent collaboration skills—able to work effectively across engineering, design, legal, security, and go-to-market teams
  • Strong product discovery instincts and comfort navigating ambiguity to find clarity and direction
  • Exceptional communication skills—visual, verbal, and written—tailored for technical and business stakeholders alike
  • Prior experience in agile environments, with the ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Experience launching enterprise admin tools or internal control panels
  • Background working in highly regulated industries or supporting SOC2, HIPAA, or HITRUST compliance
  • Familiarity with metadata management, usage telemetry, or data governance principles
  • Passion for building tools that make complex systems accessible and manageable for all users
