The Opportunity at Komodo Health
As Product Manager, Core Platform & Functional Admin Services, you will lead product strategy and execution for the essential backbone of the Komodo platform. This includes our foundational platform services and the Komodo Management Console—tools that enable customers to administer access, monitor usage, and govern their Komodo assets. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that every customer, from data novice to expert builder, has a seamless and secure experience managing their footprint within the Komodo ecosystem.
Depending on your interest and experience, you may be asked to take on product management responsibilities for additional cross-cutting platform capabilities.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo, you will have:
- Shipped key enhancements to the Komodo Management Console, enabling customers to manage their users, assets, and consumption securely
- Delivered a scalable customer-facing external admin framework for role-based access control (RBAC), usage reporting, and organizational visibility
- Defined a roadmap for core platform services, including authentication, permissions, audit logging, and usage telemetry
- Partnered with engineering to implement foundational APIs and services that power all Komodo user experiences
- Worked closely with customer-facing teams to understand and address common admin workflows and friction points
- Led the design and implementation of internal tools that reduce friction and manual effort for support and operations teams
- Collaborated with security and compliance teams to ensure platform readiness for enterprise customers
- Supported customer conversations as the subject matter expert on Komodo’s administrative capabilities
What you bring to Komodo Health:
- Previous experience in product management at a healthcare, life sciences or digital health company supporting analytics platforms
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders to build and execute a strategic roadmap with clear prioritization
- 6+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS; experience in healthcare or data platform companies strongly preferred
- Track record of delivering platform capabilities such as authentication, admin portals, or enterprise governance tools
- Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures and platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to design intuitive, scalable admin experiences for both technical and non-technical users
- Experience with user access and entitlement models, permissions frameworks, and audit/logging requirements
- Deep empathy for internal users (support, implementation) and external users (admins, analysts, developers)
- Excellent collaboration skills—able to work effectively across engineering, design, legal, security, and go-to-market teams
- Strong product discovery instincts and comfort navigating ambiguity to find clarity and direction
- Exceptional communication skills—visual, verbal, and written—tailored for technical and business stakeholders alike
- Prior experience in agile environments, with the ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans
Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…
- Experience launching enterprise admin tools or internal control panels
- Background working in highly regulated industries or supporting SOC2, HIPAA, or HITRUST compliance
- Familiarity with metadata management, usage telemetry, or data governance principles
- Passion for building tools that make complex systems accessible and manageable for all users

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:
$151,000—$205,000 USD
All Other US Locations:
$132,000—$178,000 USD
Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
