We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health

At Komodo, we partner with organizations throughout the healthcare ecosystem to improve patient care and reduce disease burden through data-driven insights. Our diverse clients have a range of familiarity with healthcare technicalities, and we strive to provide products designed to be simple enough for a layperson while also allowing power users to explore our data with all the depth and sophistication they require. The Komodo platform enables third-party data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to integrate with, extend, customize, and build on the platform to derive complex insights from the Komodo Healthcare Map™.

As Product Manager, Platform Services, you will lead product strategy and execution for foundational platform services that other services and applications rely on, including but not limited to data ingress, egress, and search. You’ll balance the needs of both internal and external developers and end-users, and be instrumental in ensuring that every customer, from data novice to expert builder, is able to bring in, find and access the data, analytics, and code they need for their use cases.

Depending on your interest and experience, you may be asked to take on product management responsibilities for additional cross-cutting platform capabilities.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo, you will have:

  • Made measurable improvements to the velocity of internal development teams, the internal and external adoption of platform services, and the end-user experience
  • Unlocked revenue-driving use cases through discovery and prioritization of platform enhancements
  • Created a 6-12 month outcomes based roadmap for the services and experiences you own, vetted with customers and users
    • This includes an informed perspective on new opportunities unlocked by Artificial Intelligence
  • Partnered closely across engineering, customer facing teams, and customers directly to understand and address common friction points in consuming the platform services.
  • Improved the search experience across Komodo data interface and applications, through a powerful universal search capability  based on customer context and intent

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • Previous experience in product management at a healthcare, life sciences or digital health company supporting analytics platforms
  • Experience working with customers and stakeholders to build and execute a strategic roadmap with clear prioritization
  • Product management experience in B2B SaaS; experience in healthcare or data platform companies strongly preferred
  • Track record of delivering platform capabilities such as enterprise governance tools
  • Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures and platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design intuitive, scalable admin experiences for both technical and non-technical users
  • Exposure to emerging technologies in LLM space is a plus.
  • Experience with user access and entitlement models, permissions frameworks, and audit/logging requirements
  • Deep empathy for internal users (support, implementation) and external users (admins, analysts, developers)
  • Excellent collaboration skills—able to work effectively across engineering, design, legal, security, and go-to-market teams
  • Strong product discovery instincts and comfort navigating ambiguity to find clarity and direction
  • Exceptional communication skills—visual, verbal, and written—tailored for technical and business stakeholders alike
  • Prior experience in agile environments, with the ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Experience launching enterprise admin tools or internal control panels
  • Background working in highly regulated industries or supporting SOC2, HIPAA, or HITRUST compliance
  • Familiarity with metadata management, usage telemetry, or data governance principles
  • Passion for building tools that make complex systems accessible and manageable for all users
