Job Summary:

The Product Line Manager (PLM) will oversee the strategic development, execution, and lifecycle management of the product portfolio. The PLM will lead cost-reduction initiatives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure timely delivery of products aligned with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent analytical skills to monitor performance and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Cost Effective Initiatives

  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and implement strategies in alignment with the Product Lifecycle Range Plan.
  • Optimize cost-saving opportunities while promoting continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with cross-functional and extended teams to accelerate project execution.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across teams to achieve shared goals.

Ensure Timely Delivery

  • Coordinate project scope, manage dependencies, and identify critical paths to ensure timely delivery of product initiatives.
  • Mitigate risks and maintain project momentum through proactive planning.

Monitor Performance & Report Progress

  • Track product performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Report progress, risks, and barriers to the Portfolio Product Manager while recommending actionable solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product management, cost reduction strategies, and lifecycle planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify critical paths and dependencies.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across diverse teams.
  • Proficient in performance tracking tools and reporting frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across complex teams and systems
  • Familiarity with product performance measurement tools.
  • Demonstrated success in driving cost-reduction initiatives within a product lifecycle framework.
