As a member of the Pharmacy Sales and Market Solutions team, our Product Development Manager oversees the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept and strategy development through implementation and performance monitoring, ensuring successful product launches and ongoing optimization. They are accountable for delivering critical product documentation, business cases, marketing plans, and presentations while managing product changes and coordinating go-to-market activities to achieve business objectives – all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

 

Qualifications:  

 

The Product Development Manager would have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 8 years of experience in product management and 2 years of leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Master’s degree is preferred.

 

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Broad knowledge of technical product development, strategic planning, and performance monitoring

  • Strong project management skills for coordinating multi-functional work across teams

  • Excellent communication abilities including presentations, facilitation, and executive-level documentation

  • Leadership skills to build effective relationships at all levels while aligning department goals with corporate vision

  • Ability to negotiate complex issues with diplomacy and navigate organizational structures independently

  • Experience leading in both direct and matrix reporting relationships, including staff development

  • Talent for developing cross-divisional processes and articulating complex information clearly

  • Proven ability to synthesize findings and recommend effective solutions to drive product success

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Oversees development, refinement, and approval of new product concepts through launch

  • Coordinates operational, network, process, and systems changes to support product initiatives

  • Partners with stakeholders to develop comprehensive product training and communications

  • Manages complete product lifecycle from development through obsolescence

  • Designs work plans and resource requirements to support analysis and decision-making

  • Analyzes product performance metrics to optimize product mix and improve financial outcomes

  • Ensures market research informs product strategy recommendations and execution

  • Develops product strategies responding to market-specific regulatory and competitive changes

  • Provides regular reporting on product performance and development activities

  • Leads team of product managers through coaching, development, and performance management

  • Establishes long-term goals with divisional leadership and adapts plans as needed

The expected hiring range for a Product Development Manager is $ 134,300 - $181,700 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%.  The current full salary range for this role is$126,000 - $206,000.
